Like many of the countrys hottest touring acts, My Morning Jacket celebrated Thanksgiving weekend in Chicago. On Friday the quintet performed at the citys famed Riviera Theater with the Slip providing support duties. During the groups encore, Jim James nodded to My Morning Jackets recent spot with the Boston Pops by bringing out the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra for a number of songs, including Bermuda Highway, At Dawn, Just One Thing, and Gideon. The group then closed its set with one of its signature songs, Mahgeetah. My Morning Jacket will appear at Washington, DCs 9:30 Club tonight and tomorrow, as well as on _ Late Night with Conan O Brien_ Wednesday. Both My Morning Jacket and the Slip are featured in the December/January issue of Relix.
