Since leaving the Dirty Dozen Brass Band in April, guitarist Jamie McLean has kept a busy touring schedule with his own brand of ‘dirty rock and roll.’ His quartet just embarked on a southern tour that continues tonight at Knoxvilles Bijou Theatre, opening for North Mississippi Allstars. Over the next three weeks the Jamie McLean Band will travel through the southeast, headlining some dates while also supporting a number of other artists including Karl Denson, Taj Mahal and McLean’s former bandmates in the Dirty Dozen on November 3 at Newbys in Memphis, TN.
