It may not rival an onanistic grizzly receiving an award via videotape from Carl Sagans widow (see story below), however, this coming weekend in New York City, Victor Wooten will present the 2006 Bass Player Lifetime Achievement Award to Stanley Clarke. The ceremony will be part of a two day Bass Player LIVE! Event. Other performers and workshop participants include: Victor Bailey, Steve Bailey, Gerald Veasely and Ruben Rodriguez. Bass Player LIVE! will take place on Saturday and Saturday, October 28 and 29, 2006 at Manhattans Millennium Broadway Hotel.
