Over the past few years Bob Weir has performed with the Waybacks on numerous occasions. Last night the RatDog guitarist performed with the group again, offering a sold-out show for 325 fans at Chico, CAs Sierra Nevada Brewing Company. The Waybacks opened the show by performing three songs sans Weir, before bringing out the guitarist for his Jack Straw. Weir remained onstage for the remainder of the groups set, which included Mama Tried, Dupree’s Diamond Blues, Kashmir, Dire Wolf, St. Stephen, The Eleven, and Brokedown Palace, among others RatDog will open its fall tour October 20 at Chicagos Riviera Theatre.
