Over the years, Tom Snyder invited many of the Merry Pranksters and their extended family onto his Tomorrow Show. A new DVD release draws together these interviews from the program, which aired after the Tonight Show on NBC from 1973-82 (this is back when the Tonight Show ran for 90 minutes and more people likely were familiar with Dan Aykroyds impression of Snyder on Saturday Night Live than with the host himself). On the DVD Synder speaks with Ken Kesey, Tom Wolfe, Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Timothy Leary. The release also presents four live songs from the Grateful Dead that aired on Tomorrow: On The Road Again, Cassidy, Dire Wolf and Deep Elem Blues.
