Last night at the DTE Energy Music Amphitheatre in Clarkston, MI, Trey Anastasio wrapped up his summer support slot for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. To mark the occasion, Petty invited Anastasio to join him on stage for the lone time on the tour. Anastasio joined in for the groups second of three encore songs, a cover of Van Morrison’s Mystic Eyes. The Petty tour will continue over the coming days with the Allman Brothers Band and the Derek Trucks Band sharing opener duties for many of the upcoming shows.
