John Medeski, John Scofield, Billy Martin and Chris Wood have aligned their schedules for a series of fall/winter shows. The four musicians performed together on 1998’s A Go Go disc, however the tour in support of that release featured drumming juggernaut Clyde Stubblefield sitting in for a honeymooning Billy Martin (although last August MSWW did appear at the Gathering of the Vibes, as part of the festivals tenth anniversary celebration). On September 26, the second studio recording from the four musicians, Out Louder, will hit and the four will support it with a number of dates. The northeast leg will begin on November 10 at Washington, DC’s 9:30 Club and wrap up on November 16 at Boston’s Berklee Performance Center. Then on December 3, MSMW will return to the road with a gig at Lawrence, Kansas’s Liberty Hall for a string of shows that will conclude on December 10 at 12/10/06 Indianapolis’ Vogue Theatre.
