Mike Clark has assembled an impressive team of Headhunters to appear with him for shows over the next three nights. Tonight at the Grog Shop in Cleveland and tomorrow at the Magic Bag in Ferndale, MI he will be joined by longtime Headhunters percussionist Bill Summers as well as Fred Wesley, George Porter Jr. and Jerry Z. On Saturday at the Double Door in Chicago, Greyboy Allstars bandmates Karl Denson and Robert Walter will join in the action as well. Following this, Clark will resume gigging with the same trio he performed with last week, which includes Jerry Z on keys and Cheme Gastelum on sax.
