The Music for Youth Foundation will once again be the beneficiary of an all-star tribute show produced by Knitting Factory founder Michael Dorf. Dorf, who produced the Joni Mitchell tribute at Carnegie Hall earlier this year, will present this show at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall on November 9. The Music of Bob Dylan will feature a roster of performers that includes: Phil Lesh, Patti Smith, Philip Glass, Rosanne Cash, Chris & Rich Robinson, Medeski Martin & Wood, Gov’t Mule, Cat Power, Lee Renaldo Project, Natalie Merchant and Al Kooper & The Funky Faculty.
