New Monsoon’s Rajiv Parikh and Bo Carper will perform as a duo tonight and next Tuesdays at San Francisco’s Le Colonial. The longtime band mates will focus on New Monsoon’s more eclectic instrumentation, mixing dobro, tablas, banjo and more. Free appetizers will be served during the paired performer’s three-hour sets. New Monsoon will open for Baaba Maal at Nevadas Crystal Bay Club Casino Thursday.
