It is only fitting that a Tennessee radio station is the first to preview the upcoming Bonnaroo Music Festival. This may yet change as not all of the stations have announced their airdates but right now WEVL in Memphis is first up to present the Road To Bonnaroo syndicated special (it will do so this Thursday, May 25). More than 50 stations also will offer the show over the coming days, which features music from Radiohead, Ben Folds, Dr. John, Cat Power and Elvis Costello. Meanwhile, concertgoers who may be curious as to when the aforementioned artists will appear at the festival, can check out the performance schedule, which is currently available at the Bonnaroo web site. Lest youve forgotten, Bonnaroo returns to Manchester, TN for its fifth year, on June 15-18.
