Last night at Jellys in San Francisco marked the first date of a five show run by the Axis Brothers. The group consists of drummer Wally Ingram (David Lindley, Stockholm Syndrome) along with The Living Daylights’ Dale Fanning on percussion, Mighty Dave Pellicciaro on keyboards and Chris Haugen on guitar. This evening the quartet is in Santa Monica at 14 Below, prepping for a two night stand at the Joshua Tree Music Festival. In addition to the Axis Brothers late night gig at Joshua Tree on Saturday and its Sunday evening performance, Ingram also will take the stage with Anders Osborne on Sunday afternoon.
