When Scott Metzger officially joined Particle in February, many fans began to question the future of his longtime band, RANA. But, though Metzger has been on the road with Particle and RANA drummer Ryan Thornton has clocked in time with Sam Champion, the group has been working on new material and will continue to perform when its schedule permits. RANA will return for a show at New York’s Knitting Factory May 13, hinting at a possible free performance in Manhattan’s Washington Square Park later this summer.
