Oteil Burbridge has been forced to cancel his performance with the Peacemakers tonight at the Savannah Music Festival. According to the bassists management, Burbridge was involved in a minor traffic accident yesterday and admitted to the University of Alabama/Birmingham hospital. Burbridge underwent minor treatment to clean out wounds to his leg but is said to be recovering nicely. The slow-speed accident occurred in Burbridges Birmingham hometown when his Triumph motorcycle accidentally hit an automobile. Burbridge, who was wearing his helmet at the time, is expected to recover in time for his April 8 show with the Peacemakers in Copper Mountain, CO.
