With so much happening on New Year’s Eve, were still catching up on events. Over in Boston, the Assembly of Dust took the stage for two nights at the Paradise. On December 30, former New Groove of the Month Grace Potter and the Nocturnals opened the evening and Potter later took the stage with Reid Genauer and AOD for a cover of John Prine’s Angel in Montgomery.’ On the 31st, Ryan Montbleau started things off and later appeared for the Genauer original 45 Degrees. Percussionist Yahuba Garcia also contributed to a few songs on NYE, including a notable midnight performance of Southern Cross.
