While the identities of most drummers who will perform with the Disco Biscuits during their two-night drum off this coming weekend remain unknown, at least one participant has been confirmed. Bockmans Danny ‘Deeds’ Carroll will participate in the sold-out AC Drum Off to take place The Music Box at the Borgata. One likely suspect who is not likley expected to appear is Benevento-Russo drummer Joe Russo, as the Duo will be gigging in Philadelphia and Baltimore. Back to Bockman, the group has announced, We are very excited about this development and wish to assure all of you friends and fans that if Danny takes the throne for these fellas, he will not be leaving the Bockman family. Although it is not in Danny’s nature to compete for anything related to his art, we are certain that he will make us all proud by delivering the rhythmic energy that we all know and love. Bockman, which recently entered the studio to works on its next recording, has also confirmed shows with Speakeasy: on December 30 at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville, AR and on New Year’s Eve at The Rockwell in Springfield, MO (By the way, does it flummox anyone other than your site editor that the group has shorted its name from Bockmans Euphio to just plain Bockman yet its web site is Euphio.net?)
