Keyboardist and composer Tom Constanten’s friendship with Phil Lesh eventually led to a stint in the Grateful Dead, beginning in November 1968. T.C. left the band fourteen months later, however, and began working as the composer and musical director of a play entitled Tarot. Constanten has continued to work in this medium over the years and his latest effort is a score to M.Z. Ribalows new play Seven Deadly Sins. The work inspired by the seven cardinal sins is Presented by the Moving Poets Theatre of Dance and will run from October 26 though Novemeber 6 at North Carolinas Theater 36.
