Yesterday, less than twenty-four hours before it was set to take place, promoters pulled the plug on the Shakedown Camping and Music Festival. As any number of people are already en route to Oregon for the event, many of the artists are scrambling to pick up area gigs. So Galactic, which was scheduled to headline the festival this evening, has announced that it will instead perform at Portland’s Crystal Ballroom. Over the course of the day, we pledge to pass along news of any additional rescheduled gigs as well as well as anything we may learn about the nature of the Shakedown cancellation.
