Michael Franti will spend the fall touring behind his new feature film _I Know I am Not Alone _. A documentary account of Frantis recent visits to Iraq and Palestinian territories, I Know I am Not Alone follows the Spearheard leader across the Middle East where he met with families and performed a series of impromptu songs on the street. In February, Franti made a second trip overseas visiting Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Neve Shalom, Shderot, and the settlement of Tene Omarim where he met with Israelis to shoot additional footage. Franti met with a bereaved parents circle, a rabbi for human rights, an Israeli soldier, a settler family and a bat shalom womens group. Franti will be present at all the screenings which are scheduled throughout the fall in Durham, NC, Rohnert Park, CA, Iowa City, Urbana, IL, Burlington, VT, Toronto and Chico, CA.
