Medeski, Martin and Wood will once again celebrate Halloween at New Yorks Hammerstein Ballroom. The acid-jazz trios longstanding Fright Night tradition moved from the Beacon Theater to Hammerstein last year, earning a Jammy-nod along the way. In addition to opening act Anitbalas, last years Halloween performance included a special guest appearance from longtime band associate Cyro Baptista and some particularly spooky costumes. MMW will support Trey Anastasio next Friday at Philadelphias Pen Landings before hitting both the west coast and Europe later this summer.
