By the time you read this the results may well have changed but as of this report the Talking Heads lead the pack in The Motet on-line Halloween vote. The group is soliciting its fans to indicate which musical costume it should wear on October 31 (and unlike the Halloween voting which Phish initiated in 1994, in this instance after you vote, you actually can see the results). Besides the Talking Heads, other choices include Earth, Wind & Fire, Fela Kuti, Jamiroquai, Michael Jackson and The Police. The Motet is currently off the road until a series of Alaskan gigs in early August.
