The Everyone Orchestra will perform a free show at Chicago’s Wicker Park Festival on July 31. In addition to band leader Matt Butler, this incarnation will include Fareed Haque (Garaj Mahal) on guitar, Cheme Gastelum on sax and flute, Alison Chesley on cello (Poi Dog Pondering), Marc Brownstein (Disco Biscuits) on bass and Aron Magner (Disco Biscuits) on keyboards. Magner and Brownstein will be in Chi-town for a performance with their new project Conspirator on July 30 at the Metro. Joe Russo and Jake Cinninger, both of whom appear on Conspirator’s forthcoming release, will flesh out the trio for this performance. As for EO the group will be at the High Sierra Music Festival this weekend and the 10,000 Lakes Festival three weeks later.
