Warren Haynes will perform as a special guest at Mountain’s 35-anniversary show on July 31. Mountain’s birthday celebration will take place at a fitting locale for the Long Island-bred band, the Brookhaven Amphitheater in Farmingville, NY. Over the weekend, Haynes welcomed a few of his own friends onstage for this leg of the Voodoo Caravan Tour. While in Baltimore, MD Ron Holloway joined on saxophone for ‘Perfect Imperfection’ and ‘Blind Man In The Dark’ at Ram’s Head during the group’s first set. During the encore segment of the Mule’s performance, Scott Metzger shredded a solo during ‘Cortez the Killer.’ Earlier in the evening, Haynes and bassist Andy Hess also joined opening act the Benevento/Russo Duo during ’4 Sticks.’
