For years, Ryan Adams professed his love for the Grateful Dead often covering the group during the encore segment of his own concerts. After teaming with Adams for the first time at the Jammys this April, Phil Lesh replied by tapping Adams the next incarnation of his rotating Phil and Friends. Tonight, in Austin, TX, Lesh will preview his forthcoming collaborations with Adams by joining his band the Cardinals at Stubbs Bar-BQ. Given that the duo broke out ‘Wharf Rat’ and ‘Bird Song’ during their last collaboration one can expect an intriguing setlist.
