The Disco Biscuits returned home to Philadelphias Penns Landing for an appearance at Jam on the River last Saturday. Joining a lineup which also featured Soulive, DJ Logic, The New Deal, The Duo, Brother’s Past and Bruce Hornsby, The Disco Biscuits offered a single, extended set that found The New Deals Jamie Shields joining Aron Magner behind the keyboards for a rendition of Helicopters. Bassist Marc Brownstein stuck around for the festivals second day, joining The Benevento/Russo Duo and Brother Pasts Tom Hamilton for a cover of Radioheads The Bends.
The Biscuits are off the road until August’s Camp Bisco , though one can wager on some cross-pollination at July’s Zen II, which will feature all four Biscuits performing in a variety of side-projects.
