RANAs Scott Metzger has been known to join the Benevento/Russo Duo on occasion for a set of Led Zeppelin covers. But, on the last night of the Duos joint west coast tour with RANA, Marco Benevento paid Metzger a visit, joining the Brooklyn-bred band for an extended portion of its set at Portland, ORs Aladdin Theater. Benevento emerged at the end of I’m Not Orfeo and remained onstage for the remainder of the groups performance, which capped off with New Juice. Tonight, RANA will offer a headlining spot at Hood River, ORs River City Saloon, while the Duo will visit Bellingham, WAs The Nightlight. Saturday, the organ and drums team will perform at the George, WAs Sasquatch Music Festival along with the Pixies, Wilco, Modest Mouse, Kanye West and the Arcade Fire.
