Bruce Hornsby has compiled highlights from his recent New York-run into a new DVD, _ Three Nights on the Town _. Last fall, Hornsby offered fans a rare treat, performing four shows at three venues throughout Manhattan. Three Nights on the Town will include Hornsbys full-band appearance at Town Hall, as well as excerpts from his solo piano gig at Zankell Hall and his two shows at lauded jazz club The Blue Note. Backstage footage and highlights from Hornsbys non-musical New York adventures round out the film, scheduled to hit stores in July. On June 1, Hornsby, a former basketball star himself, will also perform the National Anthem at Game 5 of the NBA Western Conference Finals Playoffs (that is if the playoffs get that far!).
