May 24 marked Bob Dylans 64th birthday . While the Bard himself enjoyed a rare day off the road, a number of Dylan-themed birthday tributes took place around the country. For its part, the Allman Brothers Band celebrated with a Dylan cover along with a family collaboration of its own. Near the end of the groups first set at Boca Raton, FLs Mizner Park Amphitheater Susan Tedeschi emerged for a version of Dylans Don’t Think Twice It’s Alright. Tedeschi remained onstage for the rest of the groups first set, also augmenting the Allman Brothers original You Don’t Love Me. The Allman Brothers Band is off the road until Bonnaroo, while Tedeschi will perform Friday at Yosemite, CAs Strawberry Music Fest.
