On March 10, Great American Taxi debuted at the Boulder Theater as part of a benefit for the University of Colorado’s Rainforest Action Group. Vince Herman and Reed Foehl shared vocal duties for the group which drew on material from both the Leftover Salmon and Acoustic Junction catalogues. Tomorrow night the group will return to the venue just over two months later with a line-up that also includes Jeff Hamer and Will Downes of The Single Malt Band, and Chad Staehly formerly of The Canine Unit. Great American Taxi also will likely offer cover songs, impromptu compositions and other auditory delights.
