The Rolling Stones will return to the road this fall with a mix of club, theater, arena and stadium dates. On the heels of a forthcoming new studio album, the group will kick-off its year-long outing at Boston’s Fenway Park in late-August. While the group’s extensive outing will likely make stops around the world, at present the Stones have only announced a handful of dates, including stops in Ottawa, Detroit, East Rutherford, NJ, Pittsburgh, Washington, Miami, Charlotte, NC, Calgary, AB, Anaheim, CA, San Francisco, CA and Glendale, AZ. Keeping with its flamboyant tendencies, the band announced its tour during a free mini-concert held outside New York’s Juilliard School of Music this afternoon. Longtime keyboardist Chuck Leavell (Allman Brothers Band)and
bassist Darryl Jones (Miles Davis) are expected to join the original Stones on tour.
