After much speculation and a few teases here and there, the compilation of 1966 Grateful Dead performances has been released. The eighteen tracks on Rare Cuts and Oddities 1966 include band originals such as Standing On The Corner, Caution and Ron ‘Pigpen’ McKernans You See A Broken Heart. Covers include Walking The Dog, Silver Threads and Golden Needles and Gangster of Love. While Grateful Dead Archivist David Lemieux has produced the compilation, the original recordings were produced by Bear (Owsley Stanley) himself.
