Yesterday we reported on the Benefit Concert for the Elementary Music Program of the West Contra Costa Unified School District.’ Today we wish to highlight another such effort in a different region of the country. On Monday April 25, members of Galactic, the Radiators, Rebirth Brass Band, Walter Wolfman Washington and other are slated to perform at the original Tipitina’s uptown. The 4th Annual Instruments A Comin’ Benefit Concert will also feature a silent auction, with proceed to benefit the New Orleans public school band programs, an event that is sponsored by the Tipitina’s Foundation.
