Last night at BB Kings Blues Club in New York, Warren Haynes and Greg Allman cast an eye to the past. Allman, who was there for a Gregg Allman and Friends date, invited Haynes out to perform on the title track of Allmans 1988 release Just Before Bullets Fly (a song which Haynes co-wrote). The Allman Brothers Band bandmates will likely take the stage again this evening as Allman returns to BBs for another Friends performance (incidentally, Haynes and his fellow Govt Mulers occupy the current cover of Relix).
