The Bomb Squad has released its second studio album, simply titled _ Bomb Squad II _. Released almost a year after the funk collective scored a spot on the American Music Awards, _ Bomb Squad II _ was produced by Jimmy Bralower (Rolling Stones, Madonna, Britney Spears, M2M), who first connected with the group through its AMA appearance. According to guitarist Ian McHugh, _ Bomb Squad II _ explores the group’s rock leanings. While an early album title, Big Hot Money Spot, lost out in favor of the disc’s more straightforward moniker, a track of the same name did make this set. As previously reported, Bomb Squad will celebrate New Year’s Eve in Westport, CT.
