Trey Anastasio spent the week leading up to Christmas in The Barn, working on his forthcoming studio album. According to his official webpage, Initial reports from The Barn say the new music combines his signature complex arrangements and song craftsmanship with a powerful rock edge. While the exact configurations for these recording sessions have not been announced, earlier in the fall Anastasio spent time cutting material with Tony Levin (bass), Jerry Marotta (drums), and Ray Paczkowski (keyboards). Jon Fishman, Mike Gordon, and Jennifer Hartswick also collaborated on select tracks. Anastasio also plans to track his future recording sessions at www.treyanastasio.com.
