Last month in our interview with Christopher Sabec, the manager and CEO of the Jerry Garcia Estate, site editor Dean Budnick groveled for a Legion of Mary release. The estate has complied (or very nearly so) with Keystone Berkeley, September 1, 1974. This 3 CD set presents what is billed as the Jerry Garcia & Merl Saunders Band, with Martin Fierro contributing sax and flute, John Kahn playing bass and Paul Humphrey on drums (Bill Vitt would soon come to replace Humphrey yielding the official Legion of Mary line-up). Pre-orders are now available with Keystone Berkeley set to ship in December ( with the official date still pending).
