Next Tuesday marks the official release date for the first live effort from Rusted Root. Titled simply, _ Rusted Root Live_, the two-disc set spans the groups career in terms of song selection, drawing from older material such as Cruel Sun and Ecstasy as well as newer tunes like Jack Kerouac along with a previously unreleased version of Neil Youngs Powderfinger. The group has no immediate plans to tour in support of the release although it will perform on December 31 at Station Square in Pittsburgh as part of the free First Night Celebration.
