Two weeks from today the Grateful Dead will issue its second box set of official releases supplemented with alternate song versions, outtakes and live tracks. Beyond Description picks up where The Golden Road left off, in 1973. Beginning with Wake of the Flood and continuing on through Built To Last the set offers the official releases along with numerous additions such as instrumental jams recording during Blues For Allah, an acoustic demo of ‘Unbroken Chain,’ Lowell George on a studio outtake of ‘Good Lovin’ and much more. All in all the package offers twelve discs and 65 additional tracks.
