Galactic has confirmed the opening acts for its upcoming Galactic Goes Instrumental Tour. While some of these groups do not feature singers, a few do, which will lend a different dynamic to the evenings and possibly yield an occasional bonus Galactic vocal tune. Our best guess as to when such a sit-in will take place is on October 24 at New York’s Irving Plaza when MOFRO’s JJ Grey opens the show with an acoustic set. Other artists joining Galactic on the tour, which will extend from October 12 through November 12 are Ozomatli, Joe Russo and Marco Benevento, Scratch, The Hackensaw Boys and Drums & Tuba.
