Saturday night at the Fillmore in San Francisco marked the final Galactic gig for Theryl ‘The Houseman’ deClouet (save for any future guest appearances which may well take place). Houseman looked resplendent in a white suit for an evening that featured many fan vocal favroites including originals such as ‘Something’s Wrong with this Picture’ and a cover of ‘Sweetleaf.’ In addition, Dr. Lonnie Smith energized band and crowd alike adding keys to a version of ‘Layin’ in the Cut.’ As befitted the occasion, the evening ended in a full-band, Houseman-smothering, on-stage hug.
