Leftover Salmon frontman Vince Herman is at Whistlers Cafe in Nederland, CO tonight for the first of what his web site indicates will eventually become ‘a weekly Tuesday night musical adventure.’ From here he will travel to the east coast for a few shows including a gig this Friday at moe.down. Then, beginning on October 7, Herman will hit the road through October 24 on the Spirit of Guthrie Tour. Here he will be joined by Jim Page and Rob Wasserman presenting music and social commentary that honors the legacy of Woody Guthrie (with any luck Herman will perform his composition ‘Woody Guthrie’ as well).
