The Dark Star Orchestra will close out the year with three shows at Cervante’s Masterpiece Ballroom. DSO will perform on December 29-31 at the Denver venue. Meanwhile this evening the group is at Martyrs’ in Chicago for the first of three gigs (followed by appearances on Friday an Saturday). The band premiered at Martyrs’ on November 11, 1987 presenting the Dead’s 10/8/1981 show at the Forum Theater in Copenhagen.
