Trey Anastasio, Dave Matthews, and The Dead will star in HeadCounts national Show Up ad campaign, hitting TNT, TBS and other networks between now and election day. Each of the voter registration groups 30-second commercials, as well similar radio and Internet-based spots, were shot on location at the Bonnaroo Music Festival. Disco Biscuits devotees will be pleased to know that Highwire serves as each ads background music.
A limited number of HeadCount Summer Tour 2004 poster also remain, marking the first published collaboration between photographers Danny Clinch, Jay Blakesberg, and C. Taylor Crothers. Featuring choice shots of The Dead, Phish, moe., String Cheese Incident and Les Claypool, among others, the limited edition posters can be purchased at HeadCount.org.
