Colonel Claypools Bucket of Bernie Brains will stage its first club tour this fall, starting in late September and stretching through October. Though C2B3s previous live shows have been completely improvisational, the quartet now has eleven songs under its belt, recorded for The Big Eyeball In The Sky. Claypool characterizes his forthcoming outing as ‘a traveling, oversized sock-puppet show spawned by the characters of a Tobe Hooper film and scored by Danny Elfman on bad acid.’
Commencing on September 24, Colonel Claypools Bucket of Bernie Brains will play show in Minneapolis, MN, Chicago, IL, Detroit, MI, Washington, DC, Boston, MA, New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Providence, RI, Asheville, NC, Atlanta, GA, Salt Lake City, UT, Denver, CO, Albuquerque, NM, Las Vegas, NV, Tempe, AZ, San Diego, Los Angeles, CA, San Francisco, CA, Santa Cruz, CA, Sacramento, CA, Eugene, OR, Portland, OR and Seattle, WA. Gabby La La, who is the only additional musician featured on The Big Eyeball In The Sky, will assume opening duties.
