Papa Grows Funk, the New Orleans-based band which is in the northeast for a brief tour through Sunday, will be playing a free gig this evening. The band will perform in Schenectady, NY as part of that city’s Central Park Concert Series with music set to begin at 7PM. Following this show, the band will be in Boston, NYC, and Wellfleet, MA. The group’s gig originally scheduled from Monday at Conte’s Fish Market and Grille in Wesport, CT has been cancelled. From Wellfleet, PGF will return to New Orleans for a residency at the Maple Leaf Bar through August.
