Marco Benevento, who currently gigs with Joe Russo in the Benevento Russo Duo, will take on a new partner tomorrow night. The Slip bassist Marc Friedman will join the keyboard player for a performance at Brooklyn’s The Lucky Cat. Aside from sharing four letters of their first names, the pair have performed together over the years, particularly when Benevento gigged steadily with the Jazz Farmers.
