On Saturday at the Gorge in George (WA), the Dead completed the final date of its Summer Tour, Part One. After these fifteen dates the band is off until July 23, with guitarist Warren Haynes continuing on the road with the Allman Brothers. The Gorge show served as something of a hand-off, as the Brothers shared the bill. During the Deads second set, Haynes ABB guitar foil stepped onto the stage as the Dead expanded the into a guitar army of four for Space, The Wheel, Playing and Lovelight.
