The current Mimi Fishman Foundation Auction will benefit the San Juan Mountains Association. The SJMA is an organization that seeks to ‘enhance personal and community stewardship of natural, cultural and heritage resources on public and other lands in Southwest Colorado through education, interpretation, information and participation.’ Thus it makes sense for the items to include a Tomac 6 Shooter Mountain Bike (signed by John Tomac) and a paddle signed by champion kayaker Kent Ford. Other offerings include two Jerry Garcia ties donated by Carolyn Garcia out of her private collection, a signed SCI show-used drumhead, with the full listing up at the MMF auction website.
