J.C. Flyer (aka Phil & Friends publicist J.C. Juanis) was visited by two of his Friends on Saturday at Shoreline Amphitheater. Flyer’s eight piece country collective expanded to ten for a version of Bob Dylan’s ‘Silvio’ with the addition of Phil Lesh and Jimmy Herring (lest you’ve forgotten, Dylan wrote ‘Silvio’ with Robert Hunter). Flyer was opening for Lesh and Herring’s seven-piece, The Dead, which picks up its summer tour tomorrow night at USANA Amphitheater in Salt Lake City, UT.
