The Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival took place this past weekend in Lawrence, Kansas. While some prognosticators initially suggested heavy winds and rain, for the most part precipitation avoided the festival grounds altogether. In addition to pleasant weather, Wakarusa offered disc golf and plenty of guest appearances (by way of example, following his own set, Papa Mali later performed with MOFRO, the Greyhounds and Galactic).
